Caption Solutions, LLC, is a full-service captioning company whose mission is to promote the use of accessible media by providing captioning, subtitling and transcription services of superior quality at competitive rates. Located in the heart of the Midwest, Caption Solutions was established in Lawrence, Kansas in 2005 by Kala J. Patterson-- an experienced captioning provider whose involvement in the captioning industry dates back to the early 1990s.

At Caption Solutions, our dedicated captioning staff provides high-quality, professional captioning services for all types of television broadcasts, video productions, webcasts and live presentations. Our skilled
and experienced broadcast stenocaptioners all hold the Certified Realtime Reporter designation awarded and recognized by the National Court Reporters Association, and they write at an average speed of 260 words per minute with about 99% accuracy. In addition, Caption Solutions' offline production staff is meticulous and detail-oriented, and is skilled in partnering with
our clients to meet all their offline captioning and accessibility needs.

Caption Solutions' administrative personnel are organized and attentive to all the details that keep our services running smoothly and
seamlessly for our clients. Robilea Swindell and Wanda Breeden are committed to providing our clients with the highest level of personalized services in the industry.

Kala Patterson has worked in the captioning industry since the early 1990s.  A captioning company owner since 1995, Kala founded Caption Solutions, LLC in 2005.  As President, Kala oversees all company operations and is primarily responsible for client relations, staffing, and marketing

Robilea joined Caption Solutions in September, 2005, as a temp performing general office duties.  Over time her duties increased and expanded.  Robilea currently schedules all programming, and handles invoicing and payroll responsibilities.  She speaks Spanish fluently.

Wanda Breeden worked as a sign language interpreter for twelve years, and joined Caption Solutions in January of 2007. She performs various office duties including obtaining program prep material and monitoring transcripts. She also does offline captioning.
